Who We Serve
We believe God invites each one of us to participate with Him in the Kingdom's work of restoration, healing and reconciliation. In a world where all things and all people matter to God, every one of us (young and "well seasoned") is called to use our unique gifts, passions, talents and experiences to communicate the hope and light of Christ to those in our community and to build up one another in the life of the church. Come join us to make a difference in this world and in the lives of those Christ loves!
Young Life
Many of our staff and membership began their ministry lives as Young Life leaders and carry that passion for youth discipleship into the DNA of our church. From our beginning, we hosted Young Life teens, new to their faith, who didn't have a church family of their own, financially supported a Young Life group leader and currently plan to include office space for Young Life use in our future facility. We are working to move to a more permanent location within D303 that will help us grow our partnership with Young Life.
Student Sunday
One of the highlights of our ministry year are the Student Sundays in which an entirely student designed and student led worship engages the many gifts God has given our children for the purpose of blessing us all! However, as valuable members of our church life, our teens also participate throughout the year to read our scriptures, lead in our communal prayers, contribute in our praise band, bake for our morning coffees, and help with communion.
Service Sundays
Roll up your sleeves and come join the fun Sundays each year where we enjoy a worship service on location of a service project to help a brother or sister in need.
Lazarus House
Join us each month (no culinary expertise needed!) to make lunches for Lazarus House guests, and help to serve the needs of those in our homeless community. Whether chopping, stirring or just lending moral support, building friendships is the cherry on top of a service opportunity where anyone is welcome.
Community Care Collective
Working with the D303 school district to respond to material needs of students and families who are displaced or facing economic hardship, Bethany has helped to partner with over 30 churches and community organizations who are, together, better able to provide more effective and immediate care than they could individually. As needs become more urgent and numerous, it is a blessing to cooperate with so many to communicate the love of Christ in a tangible way.
Future Church Location and Community Center
We are excited to see how God is leading us to care for the needs of those in our community as part of our plan to find a forever home. Currently, our leadership team and church membership are receiving grants, donations and funding to purchase a property in D303. It is hoped that a permanent church build will include a community center that will serve the many needs of youth, in particular, and the economically disadvantaged in our area.
Men's Ministries
Meet once a month with other men to support, inspire, mentor, and challenge one another to grow in faith while also supporting the needs of the community. Whether through practical projects or moments of prayer, come grow with us and discover community in the process.
House Groups
Discipleship happens most effectively through deepening relationships. As our church grows in number, so do the house groups which meet 2 and 3 times a month. There, in the comfort of homes, usually during a meal, meaningful conversation about life and faith and prayer for one another happen around the table.
