Around the Table
Jesus modeled the practice of sharing meals with friends, whether a picnic of loaves and fish, a dinner with Pharisees or practice of the lord's supper. We believe growth in our relationship with God and each other starts at the table. Named for the town of Bethany, where Jesus befriended Mary, Martha and Lazarus, we at Bethany Covenant Church strive to follow Jesus' teachings and life example through relationships. Like Mary who sat at Jesus' feet, we believe everyone is welcome to experience hope, healing and purpose in life
Each Sunday enjoy coffee and a morning treat before sitting at one of the tables where we experience worship together. During our one-hour service, we sing, pray, read scripture, and engage with relatable, Bible-based teaching, pausing to discuss thoughtful mid-sermon questions. Our worship culminates in weekly communion, the ultimate focus of our gathering. (Celebrated even at our pot-luck Brunch Church each month!)
Dress is casual in a unique worship space that will make you feel right at home.
Sundays at 9:30am
Affectionately dubbed "the donut church," Bethany Covenant Church began in a donut shop until growing numbers and God's provision led us to Pollyanna Brewery! A relaxed and friendly space, we are now in the process of searching for a more permanent location to meet the needs of our growing community and mission to serve others. Stay tuned for new location news!
We invite all to come experience intergenerational worship where each generation can learn from one another, ask questions and look to God's word for understanding. Whether you've been hurt by church, are new to faith, or just want to grow closer to God, we believe you'll find a safe and caring space here at Bethany Covenant. We champion women and men serving together in mutuality in every step of leadership no matter their age, identity or background. We believe in creating spaces where every voice, your voice, is not just heard, but valued.
My family and I love attending Bethany Covenant church. The atmosphere is very inviting. Pastor Laura has a great understanding of the Bible and our kids love attending. We especially love the few minutes during the sermon when we are invited to discuss a couple of questions with those at our tables. Absolutely wonderful, inclusive church community!
